Pokemon Go!

Hey Pokemon fans! Today we are going to talk about a video game that will be released soon. The game we will be talking about today is Pokemon Go! I am really excited because it will be very different from other games because it will be on mobile devices. I have mixed feelings about this because it could either be really good, or just like an average Pokemon game on the app store which is very basic.

In the trailer of Pokemon Go, it shows that in this game, you would walk a distance to catch a specific Pokemon. Then you would try to capture the Pokemon with a type of Pokeball and maybe even a different type of device! In this trailer, the graphics look awesome, so that gives me high expectations for the graphics in Pokemon Go. The trailer also shows the trainer walking to the Pokemon according to a sort of direction or GPS device. One thing I am worried about is the distance you would have to go to catch a certain Pokemon, but I'm sure they'll figure that out.

Another thing I'm wondering about in the game is the Pokemon that will actually be in the game. I think it will be all Pokemon from every single generation, but it might also be only a few generations. I'm pretty sure that it will be all Pokemon because it would be more exciting.

So that was a short post about Pokemon Go. I'm really excited about the new games Pokemon will soon be releasing. I might be posting more posts about the new game Pokemon Sun and Moon and maybe more Pokemon theories! Thanks guys!

Pokemon Conquest

Hey Pokemon fans! Today we are going to talk about a kind of old Pokemon video game for the DS called Pokemon Conquest! In North America, it was released on June 18, 2012. The game was about warriors trying to conquer every single kingdom in the land to unlock the mysterious legendary Pokemon. The warriors used their Pokemon to fight their battles. It took place in a region called the Ransei Region. It included all Pokemon from the first five generations. It was a very different and unique way of battling, which made it very fun to play.

I remember I used to play this game all the time. I got really hooked on it and was determined to have a very skilled and good army. Of course, I never got to that point because I'm not the best at Pokemon. I really liked the format of battling, and how it made you stratigize in a totally different way. You needed to figure out how your team should in both defense and offensive ways. That was probably my favorite and most annoying part of the game.

Another thing I really liked about the game was the different characters and their personalities. The main characters all had their own unique personalities and traits, but the other warriors all looked the same and all had the same winning and losing sayings.

Overall, I really loved this game and I wish they came up with a Pokemon Conquest Two, just to make things even more fun. Thanks guys!

Pokemon That Should Have Mega Evolutions

(Some) mega evolutions
Hey Pokemon fans! Today we are going to talk about Pokemon mega evolutions and Pokemon that I think, should have mega evolutions. I will also talk a little bit about Pokemon who shouldn't have mega evolutions. So, first things first, mega evolutions are a selected few of fully evolved Pokemon's extra evolution! This is when a fully evolved Pokemon turns into a cooler version and stronger version of that Pokemon. They only evolve during a battle and turn back to their regular evolution after the battle is done. The only way you can evolve that Pokemon into their mega evolution is to find the special stone that you equip on your Pokemon, so they evolve. You can find these special evolution stones spread across the region. The mega evolutions started in the X & Y series. It also continued throughout the new Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire series.

A lot of the mega evolutions are awesome, but some aren't as good as the expectations should be. Some examples are Gardevoir and Kangaskhan. Gardevoir pretty much looks like a pretty princess, and Kangaskhan just had it's baby jump out of it's pouch. Those are just the looks, but they are also as strong as the other Pokemon. There are also very awesome Pokemon like the starters, and many more!

There are also many Pokemon that should have gotten a mega evolution, but just didn't get one. In my opinion, I felt like some weak fully evolved Pokemon should've gotten a mega evolution. Pokemon like Dugtrio. Dugtrio could've turned into a bunch of Diglets piled up on each other.

So that was my review on mega evolutions. Overall, I think it was an awesome feature to the game, and made some Pokemon so much more fun to play. So, again very awesome, and good job to the people who thought of this idea. I would also like to give a shout-out to my teacher, Mr. Connors, who influenced me to actually start a blog. Thanks guys!

Pokemon Gym Leaders

Hey Pokemon fans! In this post, we will be talking about Pokemon gym leaders! Just in case if no one knows Gym Leaders; a gym leader is a very strong Pokemon trainer that focuses on a specific type. Their job is to stay in their very specific gym that represents the type of Pokemon trainer they are, and battle a regular Pokemon trainer that doesn't have their medal/badge yet. If the challenger loses, then they don't get the medal, if they win, they get the medal and move on to the next city to challenge the next gym leader. Pokemon trainers do this because they need to achieve all eight medals to make it to challenge the Elite Four (Which I will talk about in a later post). Usually, you need to beat gym leaders in the order of how strong they are, weakest to strongest.
Pokemon Gym Leaders from different generations

There are many different sets of Gym leaders in different games. Some our more exciting, and stronger than others. They also each have their own unique personalities, which also relates to what specific Pokemon type they use. I felt like the gym leaders got better and better from game to game. In my opinion, the least memorable gym leaders were the Black & White 2 series, just my opinion.
Pokemon Gym Leader Cillan and Pansage

One of the main gym leaders that played a big role in the Black & White TV series than the game was Cillan. In the game, he was a very weak Gym Leader, that pretty much only appeared in the beginning of the game. But in the TV series, he goes along with Ash on his journey and gets stronger and stronger. I kind of wish he played a bigger role in the game than he had because of his impact on the Black & White TV series.

So, I hope all of you liked this post. Do you guys want to see more Black & White posts? Make sure to leave some comments on what I should post about. Also remember to vote on the poll before it ends! You can also comment about what Pokemon you would like to see in the next poll, which is Hoenn Region Pokemon!
